Sailing yacht Event Horizon is a 51' centerboard sloop built in 1982 by Baltic Yachts of Bosund, Pietarsaari, Finland. Designed by the C&C Design Group, she is number 22 of 24 semi-custom Baltic 51's built between 1979—1988. She is a light-weight displacement offshore sailboat with a fiberglass and balsa sandwich construction hull and easily identified by her black anodized aluminum alloy mast and boom.
"Eve" has a functional layout and systems that offer the comforts of home. Since 2012, she has been based in San Francisco Bay, and previously in Rhode Island's Narragansett Bay from 2002-2011.
